The Gaggenau series

Gaggenau is the luxury brand of the BSH group and began in 1683 as a forge in the Black Forest. Today its ovens are organised in series. The Expressive series, presented in 2025, stands proud of the cabinet with a steel frame and comes in 60 and 76 cm widths. The Minimalistic series sits flush with the cabinet. The 200 series also sits flush, in a 60 cm width and with up to 13 heating modes.

Before choosing, think about installation

Expressive ovens stand 42 mm proud of the front, something to bear in mind in a kitchen with flat fronts. Depending on the model, combi-steam ovens work with a tank or are connected to the water supply and the drain. Vario cooling fridges are combined in modules (fridge, freezer and wine cooler) and take cabinet fronts.

Mallorca's water

Palma's water is hard and varies by area. For plumbed-in steam ovens, Gaggenau recommends a water softener from 10 °dH. When we install it, we check and set the water hardness and recommend a softener if needed.

Warranty

Gaggenau gives a 5-year manufacturer's warranty in Spain on appliances bought from 1 January 2025.

What is the difference between Expressive, Minimalistic and the 200 series?

Expressive stands proud of the cabinet and goes up to 76 cm wide. Minimalistic sits flush. The 200 series also sits flush, in a 60 cm width and with up to 13 heating modes.

Gaggenau or Miele?

Both brands are at the very top. Gaggenau stands out for architectural design, 76 cm formats and modular fridges; Miele for laundry and its durability testing. We sell both, so we help you compare specific models.

Does the steam oven need a water connection?

It depends on the model: some have a tank and others connect to the water supply and the drain. Plumbed-in ones need a drain below the oven and a niche without a back panel. With hard water, Gaggenau recommends a softener from 10 °dH.

Do they sit flush with the cabinets?
