The iQ series in a sentence

Siemens ranks its appliances from iQ100 to iQ700: the higher the number, the more features and the better the finish. On our website you will find iQ300, iQ500 and iQ700. Siemens appliances are made by BSH, the group Gaggenau also belongs to.

Which washing machine to choose

The three washing machines on our website dose the detergent automatically with i-Dos, can be controlled from your phone and are class A. They differ in capacity and spin speed: the 9 kg iQ500 spins at 1,400 rpm; the 10 kg iQ500 and the 11 kg iQ700 at 1,600 rpm.

Washer-dryer or washing machine and dryer

A washer-dryer saves space, but a full wash and dry on ours takes 8 h 20 min and uses about 3 kWh. The heat-pump dryer uses 0.79 kWh per cycle. If you have the room, the OCU advises two separate appliances.

Mallorca's water

Palma's water is hard. Siemens recommends descaling the washing machine every 3 to 6 months depending on the hardness, and through the app, i-Dos can adjust the dose to the hardness for your postcode.

What is the difference between iQ300, iQ500 and iQ700?

They are equipment levels: iQ300 is the solid-performance range, iQ500 adds quality and design, and iQ700 carries the most advanced Siemens technology.

iQ500 or iQ700 washing machine?

All three we sell have i-Dos, Home Connect, class A and a 10-year motor warranty. The 11 kg iQ700 adds capacity, uses less water per wash (44 L against 48–50 L) and has aquaStop.

Are Siemens and Bosch the same?

Both brands' appliances are made by the BSH group, but each has its own models and features.

Is a washer-dryer worth it?

It saves space, but dries less than it washes (6 kg against 10.5 kg) and the full cycle is long. If you have the room, two separate appliances are faster and more efficient.

What warranty does Siemens offer?

3 years. Through a Siemens promotion, purchases between 1 April 2026 and 28 February 2027 get 5 years, and 10 years on the 11 kg iQ700 washing machine, the washer-dryer and the dryer. You have to register the purchase with the invoice and a photo of the appliance's rating plate. We help you do it.

Does the gas hob work with butane?

According to its data sheet, it includes butane injectors; the gas conversion must be done by an authorised gas fitter and is not included in our installation.

Siemens or BORA hob with extractor?

We sell both. The Siemens ED81AHQ26E (iQ500, 80 cm) has an odour filter that lasts 360 hours of use and needs a worktop 60 cm deep for recirculation or 70 cm for external venting.
